About Ben Smith

I am originally from Lincoln, Nebraska and moved out to San Diego, California 4 years ago. I fell in love with the weather, lifestyle, and opportunities San Diego has to offer. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, playing beach volleyball, and spending time with friends. I've always been passionate about providing value in other peoples lives by helping them with anything. As a first generation Serbian-American, I was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Eventually my family moved to Seminole, Florida, where I realized I loved being near the ocean and spending time outdoors. I knew that I wanted to live somewhere I can surf, be close to the mountains, and stay active with friends. So, it only took a couple trips to San Diego to realize that this was where I wanted to live after I graduated college. I began my career as a civilian Aerospace Engineer for the Navy. But eventually, I realized that I was passionate about working directly with people and being more involved in positively impacting their lives. My interest in Real Estate investing helped me see that supporting people in buying and selling their homes was the best way for me to pursue what I was passionate about. I’m excited to provide as much value to anyone I work with and can’t wait to see where this journey takes us!

I was born in La Jolla, CA and raised in Carlsbad, CA. I grew up playing almost every woman’s sport and ended up sticking with beach/indoor volleyball to this day. I also enjoy any outdoor activities and spending time with family whom I am lucky enough to still have living in Carlsbad. As a local to Southern California, I am knowledgeable about the various areas throughout San Diego County and what each gem has to offer. I am known to provide a genuine and caring experience to all I have the pleasure to work with. I look forward to helping you reach your purchasing and selling goals!
