Generally speaking people tend to choose to work with who they like. So be a human and show a little personality. Very few people are on social media to clog up their feed with just sold signs. 


One thing for sure: being consistent on social media is crucial. If you don’t have quality content ready to post everyday, dont stress, because interacting with others in social platforms comments can be equally as valuable.

An amazing way to give back to your community, make a positive impact, and promote your business is to host an event. Grab your calendar and check out the upcoming months and identify what Holidays or themes you may want to work around. Hosting events can be as simple as a cookout, virtual & wine tasting, or board game night. You don’t have to dred hosting an event that will end up stressing you out. A quick google search can inspire plenty of reasons to host an event and steal the day.


Hosting an event does take some planning and logistics, however since you will be the host, you will be on the top of people’s minds. A successful event will of course leave you looking like the hero for hosting a friendly get together. Of course hosting events will also introduce you to new faces and even lead to invites to attendees events. Larger events introduce you to more people but there is tremendous potential to build plenty of lasting relationships even if your events are small and intimate. You never know who may bring you your next source of business.  


Hosting an event brings the community together and you also gives everyone a chance to network, while creating positive vibes in your target area. Most cities offer sports leagues that range from competitive kickball to casual cornhole. If sports aren’t your thing, you can easily think of other ways to help grow your network, like cooking classes, art lessons, or game nights. There are plenty of options for authentically connecting with your target audience. Even if you just make an effort to connect with people at your local gym, improving your presence in local communities can be a great way to also improve your business. 


Volunteer


Taking time to improve your community and helping others is very rewarding. More importantly it gives you a fresh perspective on knowing what your community deeply needs.
